Farmhouse Crottin de Chavignol - 60g - 1 piece 🐐
These small pieces of goat cheese are among the most versatile and delicious, with numerous ways to enjoy them! Some prefer them sliced on pizza, others oven-baked on a piece of bread with honey and rosemary alongside a salad, and many love them as a dessert. Crottins de Chavignol are an age-old French tradition made exclusively with Alpine goats and raw milk. The name "crottin" comes from the mold used in their production.
Our Crottins de Chavignol are matured for a few weeks, developing a blue/gray mushroom (Penicillium Album) on their surface, which enhances their nutty and mushroomy flavor. When less matured, they are delicate, goaty, and lactic, melting wonderfully!
